This is our review site for traditional Sunday pub lunches in St Albans. St Albans has a very large pub 'population' and the quality of food at many of these is extremely good. We've decided, after visiting them nearly every Sunday for two years, that we should provide some feedback for others looking to distinguish what the different pubs offer and how they differ.
Please bear in mind, it is just about traditional roast Sunday lunch, not the full menu or the pub generally.
We welcome your own comments, and the pub owners' own feedback, because we are sure that its possible we catch some pubs on good or bad days and our experience may not be typical. For that reason we will try not to be highly critical, we are not expert restaurant critics (but Michelle is a qualified nutritionist who writes for the Herts Advertiser) so these are our views only.
Do feel free to comment and make suggestions. Kind regards, Mark and Michelle
We review a pub lunch most Sundays. We'd be happy to come and see you and add our honest, but kind, review of your pub lunch. Mark and Michelle.
